PRE-CLASS HOMEWORK:
Have your quilting finished before classtime.
Supplies needed:
You will need to bring your sewing machine, regular sewing supplies, thread (lots of top-stitching here), and fabric.
You will need to have or purchase the required pattern.
The pattern calls for:
1 yard (3/4 yard) - Main fabric
1 yard (3/4 yard) - Lining fabric
1 yard (3/4 yard) - Coordinating fabric
1 1/4 yard - woven fusible interfacing
1/2 yard - foam stabilizer (such as Bosal or Soft and Stable)
1 - handbag zipper 9" or longer
1 1/4 yard (1 yard) - 1" strapping
4 - 1" rectangle rings
5 3/4" x 12" (5" x 8 3/4") - base stabilizer
You are welcome to bring your own lunch or you can bring cash as we usually order in lunch.
