AccuQuilt S & E - Sleigh, December 2023
In December, we are featuring the Sleigh & Snowflakes Die! Use this as a standard sewing-only applique design, or add some fun machine embroidery to dress up your project.
Don't own an embroidery machine? No problem! Let Patty know at least 48 hours in advance and we will have one set up for you to rent for the day.
Supplies:
Machine in good working order. If doing machine embroidery, a 5" x 7" hoop or larger is required.
Fabric: 1 background piece, 3 pieces (1 each) for sleigh, snowflake, reindeer
Fusible web
Basic sewing supplies (thread, scissors, seam ripper, etc.)
Basic embroidery supplies (stabilizer, embroidery thread, etc)
Appli-fuse mat
You do not need to purchase the Sleigh & Snowflakes die for this class, but if you own it, feel free to bring it and a cover to class. We will have a die here for class use.
To use the machine embroidery design, you will need to have or create an AccuQuilt account and download the design yourself. If you need assistance with this process, please ask us ahead of time and we'll do our best to assist you before the class date. We are not handing out designs in class.
The embroidery design we'll be using in class is the basic free design available here. To do a more elaborate design like Sandy's samples you'll need to purchase that design from AccuQuilt.
