A Place for Everything Bag
This is a two-day class. There is a lot to do on this bag; you might not quite finish in the two days.
Bag features exterior and interior pockets. Two removable pages with vinyl and mesh pockets. Organize, store, and carry it all!
PRE-CLASS HOMEWORK:
You MUST have your fabric quilted before class. Having your fabrics cut out before class is helpful.
Bag finishes at 14" wide x 10" tall x 5.5" deep closed
With two pages measuring 13" x 20"
Supplies needed:
You will need to bring your sewing machine, regular sewing supplies, thread, and fabric.
You will need to have or purchase the required pattern. (PBA207-2 A Place for Everything 2.0)
Wonder clips
Disappearing marking tool (I recommend Sewline Duo marker)
The pattern calls for:
Fabric Main: 1 1/2 yards - body, outer pockets, pages
Fabric Lining: 1 1/2 yards - lining, pages
Fabric Contrasting: 1 1/8 yards - bindings, handles, front pocket border, straps, page facings
Foam - 1 1/2 yards - Single sided fusible foam (58" wide)
Fusible interfacing : 1/2 yard
Mesh Fabric: 1/2 yard - interior bay pockets
Mesh Fabric and/or Vinyl: 1/2 to 1 yard
Fold-over elastic: 1 1/4 yard
Handbag zippers: 2 packages of zippers by the yard (222" and 16 pulls)
1" strapping: 5 yards
2 - 1" D-rings
2 - 1" Swivel hooks
1 - 1" Wide mouth slider
Hook and Loop tape 3/4" - 6"
