Creative Grids Log Cabin Flying Geese and Flowers

Learn how to easily make a variety of log cabin blocks using the creative grids 10" Log Cabin Trim Tool Duo ruler.

This is an Accuquilt friendly project and you will have the option to cut your pieces in class with the Accuquilt GO! Big.  Cutter and dies for this project will be available to use for this project in class.

Supplies needed:
You will need to bring your sewing machine in good working order, regular sewing supplies, rotary cutter with new blade, ruler for cutting strips, thread, and fabric.
You will need to have or purchase the required ruler.

For each Flying Geese Block you will need fabric for
1 – 2 ½” Center square
8 – 2 ½” “Geese” squares
2” x 7” First Light
2” x 11” Second Light
2” x 15” Third Light
2” x 19” Fourth Light
2” x 9” First Dark
2” x 13” Second Dark
2” x 17” Third Dark
2” x 21” Fourth Dark

For each Flower Block you will need fabric for
1 – 2 ½” Center square
8 – 2 ½” “Geese” squares
2” x 50” Light
2” x 60” Dark
