Booklet Pouch
Learn techniques on adding closed-ended and separating zippers. Learn how to add clear vinyl to your project.
Large pouch finishes at 9" x 11" x 3"
Supplies needed:
You will need to bring your sewing machine, regular sewing supplies, thread (lots of top-stitching here), and fabric.
A zipper foot is handy for this project.
You will need to have or purchase the required pattern.
The pattern calls for:
Fat quarter for exterior
Fat quarter for cover lining
3/4 yard for pockets
1/8 yard for cover binding
3/8 yard for pocket binding
1 1/4 yard woven fusible interfacing
1/2 yard double sided heavyweight fusible interfacing
(such as Peltex 72F or Fast2Fuse Heavy)
1 piece 25" x 20" clear vinyl
4 closed ended zippers at least 10" (14" are fine)
1 open ended or separating zipper 10"
You are welcome to bring your own lunch or you can bring cash as we usually order in lunch.
